The MRA Gift Certificate Program is your chance to increase sales and receive free marketing geared specifically to program participants.
Accepting MRA Gift Certificates is easy… here’s how it works:
- Gift certificates are issued in denominations of $10, $25, and $50 and can be purchased via the Online Store.
- Purchaser of gift certificate(s) receives a listing of all program participants that includes restaurant name, address, city and phone number. Participants also receive Gift Certificate Program participant designation on www.showmerestaurants.com.
- Purchaser redeems gift certificate(s) at participating location.
- Accepting an MRA Gift Certificate is as easy as accepting cash! Certificates should be treated as a check, and after proper endorsement, can be deposited into your bank account where you will receive credit for full face value. Please note, change must be given to patrons whose bills are less than the face value of the gift certificate. Change can be issued via cash or gift certificate/card.
- Participation is FREE for MRA Member establishments! This is a no-cost marketing program geared to promote your business and drive traffic to your restaurant.
- Ensure your staff is knowledgeable of the program and well-versed on how to handle a gift certificate when presented for payment. This will provide you a better chance for success as a participant.
- Participants will receive a window decal to notify your guests that you are an MRA Gift Certificate Program Participant and promotional material to share with your staff that includes a sample of an MRA Gift Certificate.
To take advantage of the member-only program, download and complete the enrollment form (Download MRA Gift Certificate Program Enrollment Form.pdf) and return via fax, email or mail to the address indicated on the form.
