Mission Statement

The Missouri Restaurant Association is dedicated to serving the needs of the foodservice and hospitality industry, enhancing and improving its growth and development, assisting and educating its members in operating more effectively, improving the political, economic, and social environment in which the industry conducts business, for the benefit of its members, patrons, employees, and the well-being of the community.

We Hereby Pledge to:

  • Provide value in the preparation and service of wholesome FOOD to our patrons.
  • Maintain courteous, attentive and efficient SERVICE in a pleasant atmosphere, and maintain fair and honest relations with the public at all times.
  • Meet and maintain all recognized and accepted standards of sanitary food preparation and service, and remain constantly aware of our responsibility to the PUBLIC HEALTH.
  • Provide and maintain EMPLOYEE RELATIONS through the proper physical, moral and environmental conditions for all employees and provide equitable wages and training opportunities for all personnel.
  • Deserve the respect of the business community, and contribute to community life by participation in and business development and CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY.
  • Operate with integrity in all relations with other foodservice establishments and engage in FAIR TRADE PRACTICES through fair and open competition based on truthful representation of products and services offered.
  • Contribute to INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT through dedicated service to the public toward the growth and development of the foodservice industry.
  • Maintain the ability to earn a reasonable, just and FAIR PROFIT.
