Organization Overview
Pete's Garden is a food recovery organization dedicated to reducing food waste in Kansas City and providing free, wholesome, take-home meals to local families. We recover surplus prepared foods from restaurants, caterers, and other food service managers every day of the week. We then repackage the food into family-size servings in our commercial kitchen, and distribute the meals through local service organizations the same day it is repackaged.
