SERVSAFE® MANAGER ($125) You can help protect the image of Missouri's foodservice industry by attending the nationally recognized ServSafe® Manager course.
ServSafe Manager Class and Exam - $125 Fee includes textbook, classroom instruction, exam, and ServSafe Managercertificate of completion (valid for five years).
ServSafe Online Course and Exam - $175 The online course does not include a textbook, the course key will be emailed.
ServSafe Proctored Exam Only - $75
Proctored Exam Only is for Online Courses purchased through ServSafe and not Missouri Restaurant Association, however the exam will also need to be proctored by Missouri Restaurant Association
Second Attempt after Failing Exam - $50

The one-day, eight-hour course meets the requirements for a Certified Foodservice Manager certificate. The course integrates independent study with an in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and explains ways to apply these principles in practical operational situations.
The 7th edition ServSafe® Manager course textbook is modeled after the FDA 2017 Food Code guidelines and includes basic principles for food handling techniques, safety systems, training and supervising employees.
Topics Covered Include:
Addressing the challenges of food safety through effective training methods andhandling techniques.
Developing a Food Safety System (HACCP) to prevent foodborne illnesses.
Proper methods for purchasing, receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, holding, serving,cooling, and reheating.
Maintaining sanitary facilities and equipment, and techniques for cleaning andsanitizing.
